Cancelled Appointments:

As a consideration for your fellow patients please contact us if you cannot attend your appointment for any reason.

We often have people waiting urgently for appointments.

A full fee may be charged for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Insurance Companies:

Our practitioners are registered with most health Insurance providers.

Unfortunately Insurance companies are less and less willing to fund treatment and some will only fund part of the costs. Some will also require referral from your regular Doctor or Consultant.

Please check your insurance policy.

Many patients are now choosing to self fund in order to obtain the quality of treatment they want.

Special note regarding claiming on BUPA  from December 2014

BUPA has revised their contracts with their providers and is only willing to pay well below the present fee

scales for most osteopaths in  London & the Southeast.

BUPA are also preventing patients from making up the difference between their present osteopath’s fees &

what  Bupa is prepared to pay – i.e. they are not allowing patients to “top up” the fees.

We treat patients as individuals, and the treatment  provided for each patient is as unique as you are. We therefore believe that we,     having taken a case history and performed an examination, are in the best position to decide the treatment that you need.

Without knowing you or ever having seen you as a patient, Bupa is trying to dictate what treatment your osteopath is allowed to give you.

We do not want to stop providing treatment under your cover, but we feel that these changes make it impossible for us to give you the     care you need.

What we have chosen to do

It is with regret that, after many years, the Osteopaths in this practice have withdrawn from the BUPA scheme and so BUPA will no longer     cover your fees.

Please note that this does not apply if you are claiming under BUPA international.

   What you can do

You may wish to voice your own concerns to BUPA about this change in policy which effectively substitutes a quality based service by a     service based on price.

We believe that be seeking out experienced Osteopaths you will save yourself time and suffering.
